Product Description

Singing bowls, also known as Tibetan Singing Bowls, Himalayan bowls  are a type of bell, specifically classified as a standing bell. Though they are often referred to as Tibetan Singing Bowls, they are more accurately called Himalayan Bowls, as they are present throughout the Himalayan regions of Tibet, India and Nepal.

They sit with the bottom surface resting and vibrate to produce sound characterized by a fundamental frequency and two audible harmonic overtones. Holding the bowl in one hand and run the wooden handle around its rim to create harmony through sound. This pure sound produced when the rim is rubbed is said to put the brain into a meditative state. It brings a calming Buddhist influence to your home. It has 'Om mani padme hum' mantra in Sanskrit carved on the sides.

Singing bowls are used as a signal to begin and end periods of silent meditation. Singing bowls are used worldwide to aid meditation, yoga, music,  religious practice,  relaxation, and personal well-being. When used in sound healing, singing bowls are sometimes referred to as healing bowls or chakra bowls. The beauty of these bowls is that they sing the Universal peace word AUM (OM) and create a heavenly ambience.

They are also used by a wide range of professionals, including health professionals, school teachers, musicians and spiritual teachers. Singing bowls are used in health care by psychotherapists, massage therapists, stress and meditation specialists. They are popular in classrooms to help facilitate group activities and focus students' attention. The sound vibration aids concentration and evokes the Kundalini chakra.

This singing bowl is made from good quality of Bronze material with the traditional etchings all around. Also it has small Buddha statues carved inside the bowl at the bottom surface. It includes the carved wooden stick or mallet.
It will add a touch of Himalayan culture to your living room with this exotic singing bowl. Let your guests admire the bronze bowl's traditional etchings.
